Azerbaijan, Baku, 25 October / Trend , corr. U.Ismayilova /From January to September, some $1,7bln commodities were imported to Azerbaijan from the CIS countries, which made up 33.04% of total import to the country, the State Customs Committee reported.
Azerbaijan has imported green plants, vehicles, ferrous metallurgy, equipment and mechanicals from the CIS countries.
Some $1.2bln was exported from Azerbaijan to CIS countries. Azerbaijan has exported mineral fuel, sugar, oil products, chemicals, animal and plant oils, cotton, vegetables and fruits to CIS countries.
The red ink in the sum of $465mln made up on import and export operation with the CIS countries.
In Jan-Sept, Azerbaijan has carried out trade operations with 136 countries.
