US Eager to Grant Georgian Companies Preferential Access to its Market, Deputy Trade Minister

Georgia, Tbilisi, 27 October / corr Trend N.Kirtzkhalia / The United States intends to grant Georgian companies with access to the US market, John Sallivan, US deputy trade minister, said at the Georgia-US business-summit in Tbilisi on 27 October. 

"The United States will render the financial assistance to Georgia, as well as is prepared to establish cooperation with your country in other spheres in order to provide Georgia with stability and development," Sallivan said.

США выделили Грузии помощь в размере одного миллиарда долларов, из которых 370 миллионов долларов будут перечислены в госбюджет в этом году.

The US rendered assistance to Georgia in the amount of $1bln, out of which $370mln will be transferred to state budget this year.

The trade mission, engaged in expansion of the list of Georgian products, was set up. The production will be admitted to the US market on preferential terms, Sallivan said.

"We will render assistance to Georgia in defense of intellectual production, improvement of procedures to solve judicial contests and quality of wine," deputy of trade minister said.
