Azerbaijan, Baku, 12 November / Trend , corr. I.Khalilova /"Since 2009, the Accounting Chamber of Azerbaijan is to expand checking the efficiency of state expenditure," Heydar Asadov, the chairman of the Chamber, said on 12 November.
"We started estimating the efficiency of expenditure through designed indicators, as efficiency criteria for state organizations have not been set," Asadov said.
In 2009, the spheres with audit efficiency will be expanded and criteria for efficiency in different spheres will be specified. This experience is used in international audit standards.
In 2008, the Accounting Chamber will carry out 33 auditory checks against three checks in 2007.
