Azerbaijan, Baku, November 21/ Trend , corr U. Ismayilova/ Introducing single window system while examining goods and vehicles in check-points in state borders of Azerbaijan will allow to increase trade turnover and speed up the movement of vehicles, head of the Customs Committee Aydin Aliyev said.
"Under presidential decree, a special committee has been set up at the Customs Committee to prepare for the introduction of single window system from January 1, 2009," Aliyev said on November 21.
Aliyev said experience of a number of countries including the United States, who was first to introduce this system in customs check points, has been studied. Georgia and Kazakhstan also benefit from the US experience.
