Azerbaijan, Baku, Dec. 15 / corr. Trend U.Ismaylova / "The Azerbaijani State Social Security Fund intends to pass to a complete automated system of pension maintenance from 2009," Salim Muslimov, head of fund, said on Dec. 15.
The present system evolves additional problems for the fund while granting a pension, he said.
Presently, a system of pension maintenance is automated by 90% in Azerbaijan.
Moreover, in 2009 the main three tasks of the fund will include indexation of basic part of pensions approximately by 20%, financing of new pensioners, who are expected to number 1,290mln people, as well as increase of basic part of pensions depending on the inflation in the country.
