Manager in Kiev imitates robbery of bank he works for

Ukraine, Kiev, Dec. 19 / Trend corr Z. Novsvitskiy / A 28-year old manager of the department of a commercial bank imitated the robbery of the bank getting 350,000 hryvna and nearly $19,000.   

According to the Public Relations Center of the Ukrainian Ministry of Domestic Affairs, at 6:50 pm, Shevchenkovskiy District Police Station received information on the robbery of the bank office.

An operation group arrived at the scene and determined that the manager was the only person in the department who explained that he came to work at about 5:30 am and as if wanted to complete some work till the opening of the bank at 9:00 am. 

According to the manager, meanwhile when he went out to have a smoke, two unknown people approached to him and by threatening with a knife, forced him to enter the department, seize the device with the record of the video camera, switch off the safe signaling and give them all money kept in.   

While determining the situation, the policemen began to suspect the manager as he was talking with confusion, the Public Relations Center said.

Ultimately, the policemen decided to hold search in his house where they found the indicated sum of money.

Moreover, the in-checking video camera, which was switched on while he entered the bank, worked out of the system of other cameras and saved the record displaying that no one except the manager himself, entered the bank that time.

The banker was detained regarding the issued criminal case.
