The long-expected HR-Community was opened in Baku on Feb. 5.
Representatives of the Professional Services Company consulting agency held a presentation in favor of the opening of HR-Community in Baku.
The PSC company held a poll. The results of the poll showed that 71 percent prefer to communicate with colleagues through HR alive, 19.4 percent consider that it will be difficult to gather those who will to use the system, while 9.7 percent consider the opening of Internet-forum sufficient.
The ideas, missions, tasks and further plans to develop the HR-Community were considered at the presentation.
The idea is to create a permanent area for professional communication among qualified colleagues and access to unique data resources.
The mission is to define the development of personnel management as one of the directions of Azerbaijani management, and provide efficient communication in HR-Community to increase competitiveness of its members on the basis of high professional standards.
The tasks of HR-Community are:
- To initiate actual issues in the HR sphere
- To promote the role and image of HR-specialists' occupation in Azerbaijan
- To provide area to HR-specialists for informal communication and share of experience
- To promote self-development to HR-Community members
- To extend professional HR-Community in Azerbaijan
- To attract experts to the personnel management to attend the meetings of HR-Community
- To give an opportunity to HR-specialists to deliver their achievements to those who will appreciate them
At the presentation HR-specialists and HR-managers shared their views in the most vital issues that are necessary to review at the next meetings of HR-Community:
- introduction of the adaptation system in the company,
- the absence of personnel documents in the Azerbaijani language,
- development of the corporative culture in company,
-the influence of the crisis on the labour market in Azerbaijan,
- to form expatriates and work with migration service,
- the changes to the Labour Code of the Azerbaijani Republic,
- development of HR-culture in Azerbaijan,
- to develop HR-programs in the Azerbaijani and other languages.
The participants of the meeting showed an interest to attract experienced specialists from different state and commercial organizations to HR-Community. The specialists will share their experience and inform about the innovations at the Azerbaijani labour market in the sphere of personnel management.
HR-Forum is selecting a topic to be discussed at the next HR-Community meeting.
A general vote resulted in a decision to hold meetings every first Thursday every month. Next working meeting will thus take place on Mar. 5, 2009. HR-Forum is specifying venue for the meeting.

Twenty-five representatives of different companies HR-services, who have participated in presentation and opening of the HR-Community, are ready to unite into a group of people with common interests, exchange experience and receive useful information.
