Georgia, Tbilisi, Feb.6 / Trend corr N. Kirtzkhalia / Land prices in Tbilisi are downing, ranging from 10 to 400 lari per square meters ($1- 1.6720 lari). The Tbilisi Mayoral Office made this decision, initiated by the city hall of the capital city, on Feb.6.
The land prices will be cut down by 20 percent. Experts hope the current process would jumpstart the business activity in the city.
MPs, including three from the opposition, supported the decision. Changes to taxes on gambling industry were also adopted. The tax ups from 700 lari to 850 lari per one table and gambling device.
