Prices dropped on export deliveries in Kazakhstan in 2008, the Kazakh Statistics Agency reported. Prices on imports to the country increased.
Prices on exported natural gas increased 2.2 times; coal - 1.5 times; and non-ferrous and ferrous metals - 1.4 times. Oil prices fell 29.9 percent.
For imported goods, prices on shoes increased 12.5 percent; paper - 11.3 percent; chemical goods - 10.4 percent. Prices on tea increased 22.7 percent; fish - 8.2 percent; and coffee - 28.8 percent.
