A special tender commission comprising 5 individuals has been established to run the process, he said.

Tender documents, stamps and seals have been drafted and approved by the committee.

The committee has completed educational seminars in 8 regional municipalities to become familiar with the new procedures. The commission will include representatives of the committee, municipal authorities and a public representative to ensure transparency.
