In February 2009, the dynamics of sales transactions on the Baku commercial premises market rose 2.3 percent from January and dropped 16.5 percent during the same period in 2008.
Within a month, many city areas saw a 3.7-percent decrease in the yield rate due to the relatively low prices on renting premises. Prices on commercial properties leasing fell 2.5 percent.
In February, the non-residential premises market experienced a 3.6-percent reduction in supplies due to low market activity. The number of market transactions declined 1.6 percent from January.
Average prices on the non-residential premises market fell 0.3 percent to $3.44 per square meter in February.
