The European Business Assembly presented the Leaders of the 21st Century award to the Azersun Holding. The awards are based on analysis by the International Industrialists and Entrepreneurs Congress, European Market Research Center, International University of Vienna, International Study Center for Slavic Nations Assembly, Baden-Wuttemberg Export Academy and Marketolog-Consultants Association.
The Queen Victoria Commemorative Medal was conferred to Azersun Holding President Abdolbari Goozal for his business achievements. Azersun Holding was also awarded the European Quality Award for quality standards in production. Goozal received the awards at a summit in Oxford in March.
Nokia head Jorma Ollila and Tata Group head Ratan Tata also received awards.
Earlier, the Queen Victoria Commemorative Medal was conferred on Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko, UNIDO Director General Karlos Magarnos, Romanian Prime Minister Andrian Nastase and Russian State Duma Speaker Gennadiy Seleznev.
