Presently, operations on designing and laying telecommunication lines are being conducted in the territory of summer-winter Shahdag complex, Minister of Culture and Tourism Abulfaz Garayev said at the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers dedicated to results of social-economic development in the first quarter of 2009.
Central area of the complex, two major lifting stations, eight lifting installations and equipment producing artificial ice, inner roads and infrastructure system of the complex are planned to be constructed over 2009-2011, Minister said.
Summer-winter tourist complex Shahdag to be built in Gusar region of Azerbaijan will consist of four-star hotel for 340 places, lift, restaurant, ski-school, rope roads, artificial ice system, etc.
The Azerbaijani Ministry of Culture and Tourism announced tender for a complex designing in November 2008.
Specialists from Azerbaijan, Austria, Germany and Switzerland suggested their proposals for participation in the tender.
