A subsidiary of International Bank of Azerbaijan (IBA) IBA-Moscow is planning to get syndicated loan this year, chairman of the IBA-Moscow Fuad Abdullayev said in his interview with the National Banking Journal.
"Currently we have syndicated loan worth $55 million," Abdullayev said. "This year the bank plans to get another syndicated loan under new conditions."
IBA-Moscow has attracted guaranteed syndicated loan under the International Bank of Azerbaijan worth $55 million at a rate of LIBOR + 1.25 percent for a period of 364 days with the possibility of prolongation of the same term.
The leading organizers of a syndicated loan were Bayerische Landesbank, Credit Suisse and BANIF - Banco Internacional do Funchal SA. Participants of the deal are Landesbank Baden-Württemberg, Mega International Commercial Bank Co. Ltd., Paris branch, AKA Ausfuhrkredit-Gesellschaft mbH, Banque de Commerce et de Placements S.A., Caixa Geral de Depositos SA, France Branch, Land Bank of Taiwan and Offshore Banking Branch.
In late 2008, the IBA-Moscow capital increased 25 percent and totaled 1.016 million rubles. Assets reached 9.858 million rubles (a rise of 39 percent).
