Azerbaijan's Bank Standard has presented a new service - SMS Notification.
The Bank reports that due to this service the customer will be notified of all transactions on the account of his plastic card on a real-time basis.
The service introduced by Bank Standard will allow cusotmers to get information about any changes in his card account as SMS-message to his mobile phone. The service is accessible for all the holders of cards issued by Bank Standard if they are subsribers of Azercell mobile phone operator," the Bank says.
"Immediately after a transaction on his plastic card account the customer will be sent SMS-message to his mobile phone of that regardless of when and where transaction was conducted. Thus, the cardholder customer will also be informed about payment of his wage, a money transfer and other operations on his card account and even unsanctioned use of his card.
The customer having Azercell number can connect to it through any Bank Standard cash machine.
Cost of 1 SMS-message is 10 gapiks (22 mobile phone units).
On June 19, the official exchange rate is 0.804 manat to $1.
