During the monitoring the Azerbaijani State Committee on Standardization, Metrology and Patents revealed sale of fake imported fruit juices and mineral water in the country, the committee said.
The monitoring was conducted on the basis of appeals. The monitoring revealed sale of faked mineral water Perrier (of French production) and fruit juices Granini (of Austrian production) in the local market.
The faked drinks are offered in local restaurants and wedding houses, which is violation of consumer rights.
The Azerbaijani State Committee on Standardization, Metrology and Patents monitors the imported goods in accordance with standards and quality, realizes a governmental control over this field and continues its investigation into appeals. The committee employees monitor local restaurants and wedding houses in the country.
The results of monitoring will be publicized soon.
