Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev issued a decree to approve senior staff of customs agencies, financed by the public budget, and other people, employed by the Azerbaijani State Customs Committee, AzerTaj state news agency reported.
The Azerbaijani Cabinet of Ministers is mandated to resolve all issues set by the decree.
The decree is considered to enter into force on April 1, 2009.
The 2009 Azerbaijani public budget allocated 11,030 million manat to maintain the State Customs Committee.
