Employees of the "Arak-Pars Wagon" plant in Iran held a protest action on Oct. 7 due to delay with their wages, IRNA reported.

Employees of the plant have not been paid for two months. "The plant employs 1,500 staff. Over the past two months, they are experiencing serious financial difficulties," said the report.

"So far, we have sent their complaints to the heads of relevant organizations, met with them. However, we have not yet received any response," said Muhammedrza Hashimi, a member of the Committee of the employees of the Arak-Pars Wagon Plant.

Hashimi demanded from the agencies to pay salaries of employees as soon as possible.

The Arak-Pars Wagon Plant is one of the largest plants manufacturing railway products. The plant produces trucks and passenger cars, locomotives and metro carriages.
