Baku housing market experiencing stability: expert

Azerbaijan's real estate market is experiencing stability, CEO of MBA Group consulting company, Nusrat Ibrahimov said.

"The activity of real estate market in Baku averagely grew by 1.1 per cent," said Ibrahimov.

He said the price of primary housing market fell by 1.23 per cent, from $812 per square meter to $802 as for Oct. 8.

Prices in the secondary housing market fell by 0.4 per cent, from $1,363 per square meter to $1,256.

Prices on the land market decreased by 0.28 per cent, from $17,860 to $17,810 per thousand square metre.

On the house rent market, averagely apartment prices fell by 1.9 percent, from $765 to $728.

Slight rise in prices was observed only on the commercial facilities market - by 0.35 per cent, from $3,601 to $3,614.

"The prices on this market increased due to the seasonal period," said Ibrahimov.
