Delegation of the Azerbaijani State Committee on Standardization, Metrology and Patents attended the meeting of the director generals of the European Commission for Internal Market and Services held in Brussels, the committee said on Oct.9.
The seminar, which was provided to member countries of the Eastern Partnership program under the European Commission's TAİEX program, held from Sept.30 to Oct.2.
The meeting mainly mulled unrestricted import, circulation of goods and products, the legal norms to keep the principles of the internal market and mechanism of mutual recognition of intellectual and industrial property.
The meeting of the EU Council of Ministers held on June 20, 2008 approved the establishment of the forum "Eastern Partnership" with the participation of the EU, Armenia, Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia and Azerbaijan and the development of a regional cooperation with its eastern neighbors, including at the bilateral level.
