WTO interested in joining of Russia, Kazakhstan and Belorussia: Viktor Khristenko
Kazakhstan, Astana, October 16 / Trend K. Konyrova /
Russia, Kazakhstan and Belorussia will join the WTO in any case, Russian Minister of Industry and Trade, Viktor Khristenko, said.
"Our countries will join the WTO. The WTO is greatly interested in our countries' joining this organization," Viktor Khristenko said after the 13-th meeting of the intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation between Kazakhstan and Russia.
He stressed that this process is 'two-way road'. All major negotiators on Russian, Kazakh and Belarusian joining the WTO must show mutual interest.
"Speaking about negotiators I do not mean Kazakhstan and Russia as we have already agreed upon all issues. I mean other countries," Viktor Khristenko said at a press-conference in Astana on October 16.
He said that if other participant-countries of the negotiating process express understanding, many conditions will disappear.
"If there would be political will," Russian minister said.
