The State Supervision Service on Consumer market at the Azerbaijani Economic Development Ministry removed over one ton of the expired products from retail sale points during the monitoring, the ministry said on Oct.29.
Monitoring carried out in the Khatai, Nasimi and Binagadi districts of Baku, as well as in the Ganja, Sumgayit and Gusar cities of Azerbaijan. The expired food products include sausages, confectionery products, vegetable oils, natural juices, beer, milk and milk products, mayonnaise, and more.
Protocols on administrative violations have been complied on enterprise and individuals.
Generally, after the Azerbaijani president's decree on amendments and supplements to the Code of Administrative Violations, dated May 17, 53 enterprises have been fined worth 199,100 manats and 507 individuals - 790,300 manats.
