The Azerbaijani Cabinet of Ministers has decided to cut the amount of public subsidies for the tickets of the Baku-Nakhchivan-Baku domestic flights from 55 manat to 20 manat, the Spokesman of CJSC "Azerbaijan Airlines", Maharram Safarli said on Nov. 2. Price of tickets for passengers was increased from 40 manat to 70 manat.
"The cost of tickets, approved by the Tarrif Council of the country on flights in that direction, is 95 manat, whose 55 manat was previously paid by the government. At present the state's share is reduced to 20 manat," said Safarli.
Safarli said that there is a 30-manat discount for the tickets for people with disabilities of the first and second group, children aged between 5-12, as well as students of universities.
