Kazakhstan intends to accelerate the grain export to the markets of Iran and China, Kazakh Prime Minister Karim Masimov said on Nov. 3.

"We need to accelerate the creation of infrastructure to access the Chinese and Iranian export route. We need a way out through Iran to the Persian Gulf," Masimov said at a governmental meeting.

The prime minister instructed the government to consider the possibility of building a grain terminal on the border with China (in Khorgos) to export the grain to the Chinese market in the future.

Masimov ordered to establish a grain terminal under the construction of new Horgos-Jetigen railway.
