Total turnover of Georgian enterprises hit 4318.1 million lari ($1 - 1.67 lari) in the third quarter of 2009. According to the statistical department, cost of production hit 2392.2 illion lari for the reporting period.
About 85.1 percent of total turnover of enterprises fall on big enterprises, 7.8 percent - on medium ones and 7.1 percent - small ones. The similar situation is observed in production.
Full investments in fixed capital made by enterprises hit 193 million lari.
About 317,695 citizens have jobs in enterprises by this period.
Full expense for staff hits 523.7 million lari.
Average wage in business sector hits 567.3 lari in the third quarter of 2009.
About 17.2 percent of people work in processing sector, 16.4 percent - in health and social aid. About 57 percent of people work in Tbilisi, the rest ones - in various regions of the country.
