The Azerbaijani Central Bank discuses with local banks possibility to decrease interest rates, CBA department on Supervision over Credit Organizations Director Rashad Orujov said
"We have launched negotiations with banks. The decrease in rates is observed in this sector. Some huge banks have begun reconsidering their rate policy," Orujov said.
According to Orujov, the expected cut in value of attracted funds will affect lending terms
Annual average deposit rate makes up 12-14 percent in connection with the inflation and other factors. Azerbaijan expects low inflation ratio this year, accordingly banks will reconsider its interest rates, Orujov added
