Over 90 percent of Azerbaijani export falls to oil products: payment balance

Azerbaijan exported goods worth $14.8 billion in January to September 2009. About 90.4 percent of total export falls on oil products, the payment balance published by the Central Bank of Azerbaijan said. The report stressed preservation of dominant state of oil products. 

The total volume of exported oil products hit $13.4 billion. Roughly $829.6 million fell to refined products and $12.5 billion - crude oil.   

About $11.7 billion falls on the oil extracted by the Azerbaijan International Operating Company (AIOC). Other companies exported oil products worth $818.3 million abroad. About $187 billion fall to condensate extracted on the Shah Deniz field and $631.3 million - the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR)

The total amount of exported goods fell to non-oil sector made up $772 billion for the reporting period.
