International experts’ forecasts on world economy for 2010

2009 which was difficult for the world economy completed. Nevertheless, it is impossible to say with certainty that all the difficulties and problems will remain in last year. However, some people believe that the most difficult periods are behind and the world economy has entered a stage of recovery. But others believe that in the nearest future a new wave of economic crisis should be expected. According to some analysts, the world economy rapidly began to accelerate, while others believe that one doesn't expect for its full recovery in the nearest future.

The worst situation is already behind. Stability is observed on most markets, though not at the level of 2008, California State University, East Bay professor of economics, James Ahiakpor, told Trend by e-mail.

According to the U.S Cornell University macroeconomics professor Iwan Azis, possible occurrence of the world financial crisis again is high enough. The U.S economy will be recovered only in mid-2010, Azis told Trend .

Despite different opinions, today the world economy shows a progressive recovery. The forecasts for 2010 are quite positive. According to the International Monetary Fund's forecasts, the world economic growth will hit 3.1 percent in 2010 compared to decrease worth 1.1 percent in 2009.

According to IMF's economists, recovery of the world economy will be slow.

According to the organization's forecasts, the economy of the countries of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) will increase by 1.9 percent in 2010, the U.S. economy - by 2.5 percent, the European zone one - by 0.9 percent.

World Bank forecasts increase of the world economy by 2.6 percent in 2010.

According to analysts of one of the British leading consulting companies for economic researches Capital Economics, the world GDP will increase by 2.7 percent in 2010. In particular, the growth of U.S. GDP will amount to 3 percent, the European zone one - 1.5 percent in 2010.

The U.S. bank Morgan Stanley has given the high forecasts on growth of the world economy.

According to the recent forecasts, the world GDP will increase by 4 percent in 2010. According to the bank's forecasts, economy of developing countries will increase by 6.5 percent or 1.6 percent more in 2009.

The U.S. Energy Information Administration forecasts increase of the world GDP by 2.6 percent in 2010. According to the EIA forecasts, the U.S. GDP will increase by 1.9 percent in 2010.

OPEK forecasts the world economic growth by 2.9 percent in 2010 compared to the decrease worth 1.1 percent in 2009. According to OPEC, OECD countries' economy will increase by 1.3 percent, the U.S. one - 1.6 percent, the European zone's one - 0.6 percent in 2010.
