Azerbaijani insurance company Azergarant concluded an agreement for the fist time in late 2009, Shukur Huseyinov, the Deputy Chairman of the company said on Jan.6.
"We conducted a huge agreement with the company on exploitation of cargo and drilling vessels by the end of 2009," Huseynov said.
Huseynov refused to announce the amount of the agreement noting that incomes from insurance of risks amounted to approximately 8-10 percent of the total amount of the company's premiums.
Azergarant has been operating since 1993. The company's authorized capital totals AZN 2.7 million. In Januray to November the company's premiums amounted to AZN 0.53 million with AZN 0.07 million payments.
