American Bank forecasts higher world economic growth in 2010 and 2011

Analysts of American Bank Goldman Sachs expect 4.4% GDP growth for 2010, and a higher 4.5% for 2011.

According to the Bank's report on world economy, high economic growth among the regions will be observed in the BRIC countries (Brazil, Russia, India and China) - at 9.2 percent in 2010 and 8.6 percent in 2011. High growth ratio will also be observed in developing countries - at 7.7 percent in 2010 and 7.3 percent in 2011.

According to Goldman Sachs's, GDP growth will be 2.3 in 2010 and 3.9 percent in 2011 in Central and Eastern Europe.

According to the Bank, Asian economy (Japan is excepted) will show growth of 9% in 2010 and 8.4% in 2011.

Turkey's GDB will increase by 5.5% in 2010 and 4.5% in 2011. Russia's GDP will increase by 4.5% in 2010 and 5.5% in 2011.

Goldman Sachs forecasts European zone's economic growth at the level of 1.5% in 2010 and 1.9% in 2011.

According to the Goldman Sachs's forecasts, the highest GDP growth among European countries will be observed in Germany - at 2.5 percent in 2010. GDP decline will be observed in Spain. According to Goldman Sachs, GDP will decline by 0.3% in 2010.

The highest GDP growth among the European countries will be observed in Sweden - at 3.5 percent in 2011.

Goldman Sachs's forecasts on world economy for 2010 are more optimistic compared to other banks and organizations' forecasts.

Thus, World Bank forecasts world economic growth at the level of 2.6%, International Monetary Fund - at 3.1%, American Bank Morgan Stanley - at 4 %.
