In December, foreign currency reserves of the National Bank of Georgia increased by $65,478, 100.
According to the National Bank, as of Dec.31, 2009 reserves stood at $1, 890 million and in November the figure was $1, 825 million. In late 2008, reserves amounted to $1, 467 million.
As of Jan.1, Georgia's official reserve assets reached a record high and this index amounted to $2,109,486,800 as of Dec.31.
