The State Supervision Service on Consumer market at the Azerbaijani Economic Development Ministry removed over 410 kilogram of the expired products from retail sale points during the monitoring, the ministry said.
Monitoring carried out in the Yasamal, Nasimi, Nizami and Narimanov districts of Baku. The expired food products include sausages, confectionery products, vegetable oils, natural juices, beer, milk and milk products fish and flour products, canned goods, dried fruits, baby food, vinegar, tomato, coffee, tea, and more.
Protocols on administrative violations have been complied on enterprises and individuals.
The State Supervision Service on Consumer market recommends consumers to pay attention to expiry dates and labels of products.
