The State Agency for Agricultural Lending under the Azerbaijani Agriculture Ministry has announced a competition to fill vacancies at a regional coordination center covering Agstafa, Gazakh, Tovuz and Shamkir. The move looks to ensure the effective implementation of the rural development project in the northwestern regions of the country. The project is financed by the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD).

The State Agency for Agricultural Lending under the Azerbaijani Agriculture Ministry has announced a competition to fill vacancies at a regional coordination center covering Agstafa, Gazakh, Tovuz and Shamkir. The move looks to ensure the effective implementation of the rural development project in the northwestern regions of the country. The project is financed by the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD).

The competition has been announced for the following posts - a specialist on irrigation and joint irrigation, a specialist in the field of agriculture and animal husbandry, a specialist in community development and gender, and a specialist on monitoring and assessment.

To participate, candidates should submit detailed biographical information, a CV, a copy of their degree, and additional information to the state agency at 40 U. Hajibeyov St. 40, Apt. 804 by 5:00 p.m. on Feb. 22.

The Azerbaijani government signed an agreement with IFAD on loan of $17.9 million for the project in 2008. The project covers Shamkir, Tovuz, Agstafa and Gazakh.
