Structural changes are expected at the Azerbaijani State Securities Committee after making amendments to the Civil Code within introduction of corporate governance standards, Committee Chairman Rufat Aslanli said today
"The Committee must reconsider its structures and restructuring of the structural unit to protect the shareholders rights, in connection with changes," Aslanli said.
Changes to the Civil Code will also affect the shareholders' general meeting, the most exact determination of the governance rights and powers, regulation upon the international rules of relationships with individuals, specific scope of authority of shareholders and other leadership positions
