The State Supervision Service on Consumer market at the Azerbaijani Economic Development Ministry removed about 10 tons of the expired products from retail sale points during the monitoring, the ministry reported today.
Monitoring carried out in the Yasamal and Narimanov districts of Baku and the Muhammadi village in the Absheron region.
The expired food products include sausages, confectionery products, vegetable oils, natural juices, beer, milk and milk products, mayonnaise, and more.
Protocols on administrative violations have been complied on enterprises and individuals.
