The only international specialized exhibition "Everything for hotels, restaurants and supermarkets" HOREX Azerbaijan in the region will be held in the Sport and Concert Complex named after Heydar Aliyev from April 28-30, the company said on Tuesday.
The exhibition is aimed at professionals in hotel and restaurant industry. HOREX provides participants with a profitable platform to demonstrate new products, the ability to expand and establish new, effective and mutually beneficial relationship between consumers and suppliers of goods and services in the market of Azerbaijan and the entire Caucasus region.
Over 30 companies from Germany, Italy, Russia, Turkey, Ukraine and other countries are expected to participate in the exhibition this year. The exhibition will present complex equipment of hotels, restaurants and supermarkets, fitness clubs, cafes, bars and equipment for kitchen, vending, a system of fast food, furniture for hotels and restaurants and much more.
Prospects for development of the hospitality sector in Azerbaijan stress the relevance of the exhibition. For four years about 370 hotels of different categories for 30,706 rooms have been built and rehabilitated in the country. In 2009, about 60 hotels were built. About 20 operate this year. Every year new supermarkets are opened in Azerbaijan. Today, about 15,000 enterprises engaged in hotel and restaurant business operate in Azerbaijan.
Thus, HOREX reflects the needs of rapidly developing tourism and hotel business in Azerbaijan. One advantage of the exhibition is its place. Baku is a traditional center of tourism and hospitality in the whole Caucasus region. In this aspect, HOREX Azerbaijan is the only place in the region for annual meetings between industry professionals. It is an excellent platform for establishing partnerships, opening the possibility for implementation the latest technology equipment and services in the region.
The organizers of the exhibition are the British company ITE Group PLC and its partner in the Caucasus - the company Iteca Caspian.
