In February, Azerbaijan saw an increase in the secondary housing and building materials markets, MBA Group CEO Nusret Ibrahimov said.
"Prices on the secondary housing market grew by 0.6 percent in February," he added.
According to the company official, changes in average prices and market activity were not seen due to a slight increase in prices for these two market segments.
He said in February prices in the primary housing market declined by 3.7 percent for the year - at 24.5 percent, the land market fell by a half percent for the year at 19.2 percent and the commercial buildings market fells at 1.04 percent and at 10.1 percent for the year.
Thus, in February the average price of one hundred square plot in Baku amounted to $16,896 a square meter of primary residence - $805, secondary home - $1,366 and a commercial facility - $3,437, he added.
