In January 2010, prices in the Baku construction materials market increased by 24.3 percent compared to the early 2010, public organization Participants of Real Estate Market said.
Share of local construction materials hit 53.9 percent.
The monitoring was held on 38 items and 89 varieties of construction materials, out of which a decrease was observed on 13 items and prices remained stable on 63. Prices increased for 13 items.
In January prices for fittings - increased by 3.99 percent, the iron layers - 2.82 percent, zinc layers - 4.97 percent, roofing - 2.12 percent, the plastic pipes - 4.78 percent, insulating materials - 7.41 percent and suspended ceilings - 11.11 percent. Prices on the glass fell by 0.53 percent, glass wool - 7.69 percent and laminate - 6.12 percent. The most significant decline in prices occurred at alchipan - 20 percent.
