Georgian wine will be protected in EU markets

The Gruzpatent Georgian National Center of Intellectual Property is developing conditions to register an agreement between Georgia and the EU to protect its agricultural and other products.

The organization will publish a list of agricultural and other products. In the framework of the agreement, stakeholders must submit their proposals to a special commission established by governmental decree within the two months, Gruzpatent CEO Irakli Gvaladze said at a briefing.

Based on the bilateral agreement, Georgian agricultural products will be protected in the EU, and EU products will be protected in Georgia.
