The only international specialized exhibition Tourism and Travel AITF in the region will be held from April 28 to 30 in the Sport Concert Complex named after Heydar Aliyev in Baku traditionally, organizer of the exhibition

Azerbaijani Ministry of Culture and Tourism provides active support for the exhibition AITF. Also, the event is officially supported by the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), Azerbaijani Association of Tourism, Azerbaijani National Confederation of Entrepreneurs.Turkey acts as a partner country in AITF 2010 for the first time.
In 2010, the exhibition will be held in two pavilions. The exhibition will be attended by over 100 companies. Currently, over 80 percent of the exhibition area have been occupied. This fact, as well as the number of companies which confirmed their participation in the exhibition, allows forecasting 20 - percent growth in the exhibition compared to 2009. In 2010, AITF will present the following areas - Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, France, Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, China, Cyprus, Slovenia, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Singapore. The exhibitors will be the national stands, which are one of the main merits of any tourist exhibitions. Thus, Turkey, Greece, Cyprus, Malaysia, Tunisia, UAE, Mauritius, India, Czech Republic, Georgia will demonstrate national colors of their countries at the stands. Exotic destinations of tourism on the topic "Paradise on Islands" will represent companies from Malaysia, Maldives, Mauritius, the Seychelles, and Thailand.
Stavropol Territory's delegation headed by the governor is expected to visit AITF 2010. The famous resort towns of Stavropol Territory Yessentuki, Jeleznovodsk, Kislovodsk, Mineral Waters, Pyatigorsk will offer visitors the full range of sanatorium treatment.
For the first time regional tourism sector in Azerbaijan will be broadly represented in AITF 2010. A pavilion will be dedicated to the exposition of recreational areas, resorts and hotels of the country. Visitors will feel the national color of each region, get acquainted with a diverse rich folklore, cuisine and Azerbaijani people's traditions.
Perspectives of hospitality sector development in Azerbaijan underscore the urgency of holding the exhibition. AITF is the single and central event in the tourism industry in the region. This is a great opportunity for tour operators to provide business potential and flexibility, to create productive links and strengthen the company's image on the local and international markets, also be distinguished among the numerous rivals of the local market. Thus, the exhibition Tourism and Travel AITF will be held under the slogan "Visit the exhibition - open world" in 2010 and will become a real festival of tourism.
