Ashgabat will host a two-day business forum of the Turkmen Entrepreneurs and Manufacturers' Union March 17. Over a hundred local companies and firms will also take part.
Talks with potential foreign partners are expected to be held at the forum.
The country has significantly increased the share of the domestic industry in the sphere of food, construction and construction materials, textile and carpet weaving.
At the moment, Turkmenistan is establishing a normative legal base, commodity and raw materials, currency exchange, labor exchange and conditions for free wholesale.
Also, a presidential decree says that state banks can issue credit to support private business projects.
