The Number of registered mortgage securities has increased 15.7 times in Azerbaijan in January-February 2010 compared to the same period of 2009, the State Securities Committee reported.
About 350 mortgage securities were registered during the reporting period. Additional registration of mortgage securities rose 105.5 times to 422 units.
In January-February 2010, the committee registered 174 collateral securities, which is 20 percent higher than 2009; re-registration of mortgage securities has declined by 43 percent.
The official exchange rate March 19 is 0.8033 manats for one U.S. dollar.
