Azerbaijan, Baku, April 19 / Trend U. Ismayilova /
There are no specialists, able to assess not only the real property, in the field of evaluation in Azerbaijan today. It is the most common type of evaluation activity in the country, Azerbaijani Society of Appraisers chairman, Ibrahim Guliyev, said.
"The lack of such specialists is explained by existing market demand", Guliyev said.
He said that Azerbaijani appraisers are engaged only in the assessment of collateral property.
The Society of Appraisers has recently received appeals for evaluation of movable property, in particular, equipment and machinery. There are also requests from the appraisers themselves about the passing of the trainings conducted by international experts in the field of movable property.
"Azerbaijani Society of Appraisers" has already begun negotiations with international to introduce additional types of property valuation", Guliyev said.
Evaluation activity in Azerbaijan is governed by the law "Valuation activity" adopted in 1995.
