The State Service for Antimonopoly Policy and Consumer Protection under the Ministry of Economic Development of Azerbaijan during the regular monitoring of the consumer market of the country identified and destroyed 1.6 tons of expired food products, the ministry said today.
Monitoring were conducted in Nasimi, Binagadi, Yasamal districts and Absheron region of Baku, as well as in Ganja and Guba cities.
Expired products - sausage, pastry, butter, milk and dairy products, canned goods, beer, fruit juices and cool drinks were found and seized from the markets.
