During the first four months of 2010 the revenues of the public budget of Turkmenistan have been fulfilled at the level of 103.9 percent and expenditures - at 91.8 percent, the Turkmen Ministry of Economy and Development said.
Turkmenistan receives the main part of currency revenues from the sale of natural gas, oil, oil products, raw cotton and exports of textile industry products.
Some 67.1 percent of budgetary funds are directed for the realization of social policy of the state. Compared to the same period of 2009 the amount of investment, including all sources of financing, amounted to 157.6 percent.
