As a result of trading of the currency section of instrument USD / AZN_TOD in May, Baku Interbank Currency Exchange (BBVB) determined the top five banks - leading operators of the stock market.
Five leading banks of the exchange currency market in accordance with the share of transactions concluded by them were headed by Joint-Stock Commercial Bank 'ASB', a message said.
Leading dealers of the organized exchange market also include joint-stock commercial bank "AGBank", PASHA Bank, Atabank and Zaminbank.

Transactions of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan are not taken into account.
About 10 banks participated in all trades of currency section of BBVB in May. About 38 trading sessions were conducted and 28 transactions registered in the reporting month in the Exchange e- system trades (BEST). Total trading volume of currency section of the reporting month on USD / AZN totaled 27.655 million manat, or $34.415 million.
Total trading volume in the currency section decreased to 11.168 million manat, or 28.77 percent compared to April in the reporting month.
Average daily turnover in the stock e-trading system on USD / AZN reached about $1,811 million, whereas the average amount of each transaction totaled $1,229 million.
Exchange rate of national currency instrument USD / AZN_TOD in the reporting month fell to 0.04 percent - from 0.8034 to 0.8037 manat to $1. The average rate of the dollar towards the manat was 0.8036 manat per $1 in May compared to 0.8034 manat in April.
