Eliminating barriers in transit transportation and issuance of multiple-entry and transit visas for vehicle drivers will be discussed June 22-23 in Iran at a meeting of the Subcommittee on Railway and Road Transport of the Coordination Council on Transit Transport of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO), the Azerbaijani Ministry of Transport said.
The meeting will be attended by the Azerbaijani Transport Ministry's representatives.
The meeting will also discuss procedures for international passenger and cargo transport by railway transport and preparation of rules for the use of carriages, development of railway infrastructure, technical requirements for vehicles in the ECO region and other issues.
