In May, prices for agricultural products in Azerbaijan reduced by 1.1 percent compared to April, the Azerbaijani State Statistics Committee reported.
Production prices for livestock products fell to the previous month by 3 percent, the crop increased by 0.4 percent, the report said.
Production prices for melon production, as well as citrus fruit increased by 4,1 percent, potatoes - 1,1 percent. Olives and nuts reduced in price at 0.9 percent, cereals - 1,2 percent, and vegetables - 1, 7 percent.
Production prices for lamb increased by 1.9 percent, live sheep - 0,1 percent, wool - 0,3 percent. The cost of live poultry decreased by 0,8 percent, cattle - 1.1 percent, poultry - 2,2 percent, eggs - 4,6 percent, veal - 14,1 percent.
