The State Service for Antimonopoly Policy and Consumer Protection under the Azerbaijani Economic Development Ministry withdrew from sale 5,700 pirated DVD-discs, the ministry reported.
The ministry launched checks on the basis of complaints received by the service. The ministry monitored audiovisual equipment at the store, which is located in the Sabail district and belonged Tsenhyu Tseng, for compliance with legal requirements to prevent unfair competition in the sale of audio-visual technologies.
The ministry filed a case against Tseng in connection with the presence of elements of the violation of the relevant requirements.
