Assets of the Azerbaijani DemirBank totaled 282.9 million manat as of June 1, 2010, which exceeds the figure for the same date of 2009 by 70.5 million manat or 33,2 percent, the bank reported.

Assets of the Azerbaijani DemirBank totaled 282.9 million manat as of June 1, 2010,  which exceeds the figure for the  same date of 2009 by 70.5 million manat or 33,2 percent, the bank reported.

The volume of the bank's loan portfolio increased by 40.8 million manat and exceeded 200 million manat during over a year.

Total customer deposits in DemirBank totaled 103.9 million manat as of June 1, 2010. The amount of household deposits reached 81.2 million manat. Thus, the increase in this indicator amounted to 70.2 percent or 33.5 million manat over a year.

As of June 1, 2010, the bank's share capital amounted to 19 million manat and the total capital reached 47.8 million manat.

One of the first banks of Azerbaijan, DemirBank (formerly Azerdemiryolbank) has been operating since October 1989. The bank's shareholders include large international financial institutions, such as European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and Netherlands Development Finance Company (FMO).
